Music was about as common as oxygen in Lauren's childhood home. She began studying classical piano as a precocious youngster in Buffalo, NY, and was soon writing and singing original songs with her two younger sisters.  But music wasn't the only magic in her world at that time.  Intuition, spirituality and energy work infused her childhood and framed her artistic development.

Following a stint studying piano performance at Montreal’s McGill University, Lauren landed in New York City, Washington, DC, and now Los Angeles. Throughout these transitions, her music and her intuitive abilities have evolved, with the support of renowned teachers and mentors in both fields.

Currently, Lauren writes and performs as

XIMXIA, creating a witch's brew of borderless pop that landed her in the top 20 of the Billboard Dance Club charts in 2019.  In this new identity, Lauren discovered the deep connection between her energy, intuitive abilities, and her voice, and how each facet of her life supports the others.
